Who is Kurt Geminic Bautista?

I’m a senior full-stack software engineer with 10+ years of experience building, improving, and maintaining production software for startups, businesses, and client teams.

Over the years, I’ve worked across the full development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing technical solutions to building features, integrating APIs, debugging production issues, and maintaining applications after launch. I’ve also worked closely with product, design, and engineering teams and have taken technical leadership roles when projects required it.

Since 2023, I’ve also been working closely with a long-term development partner on different client and product projects. Because each project has different requirements, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, C#/.NET, SQL, REST APIs, and mobile/iOS development.

I enjoy working on challenging problems, especially when I need to step into an existing codebase, understand how everything fits together, find the real source of an issue, and make a solution that is reliable and maintainable.
